The Giant Defy Advanced Pro 1 is an endurance racing bike built from lightweight and compliant carbon for comfort and speed on the most challenging rides.
The Defy Advanced Pro 1 is designed with the perfect blend of stiffness and compliance to deliver a smooth, fast ride quality, on all terrain. Engineered with a D-fuse carbon seat post and handlebar, to reduce road shocks and vibrations for a lightweight and smooth ride. For added control and reliable braking, the Defy Advance Pro 1 is designed with powerful hydraulic disc brakes, with flat-mount disc brake tabs and 12mm front and rear thru-axles.
A tubeless Giant WheelSystem and tyres with up to 35c clearance boost speed and efficiency with a reduced risk of flats, even on rougher roads. The oversized and tapered OverDrive 2 steerer tube boosts cornering precision, while the MegaDrive downtube and PowerCore bottom bracket deliver precise handling and class-leading pedalling efficiency.
Steep climbs and challenging terrain is made easier thanks to the SRAM Force eTap 12 speed groupset providing reliable shifting and a gear range of 24, so you’ll be prepared for your toughest ride yet.
